If your garage door is not opening properly, the problem may be the garage door opener itself. Maybe you are experiencing issues with the wall console, hand-held remote, chain, motor or circuit board inside the opener. Our professionals are trained to diagnose and repair a wide variety of garage door opener issues.
Reasons For Failure
The garage door opener may not work for one of many reasons. One of the most common is that the sensors at the bottom of the door may not be aligned, so the beam is broken and the opener thinks that someone is in the way of the door closing.
Another problem could be that the motor on the inside of the garage door opener is damaged. Certain gears or sprockets could be worn, which prevents the entire motor from running properly. If this is the case, the motor itself must be serviced, which requires special tools and knowledge of how the system works.
